Does the tour operate in wet weather?
The glow worms actually love wet weather and glow brighter in the rain. A rainy night is the best time to see the glow worms.
Do I need to take wet weather gear if it rains?
You are welcome to bring along your own waterproof jacket, but if you don’t have one, knee length rain ponchos can give you on the tour for free of charge.
Can I see the glow worms during the day time?
The glow worm tour is a night tour. The glow worms are found in a cave that has a large opening allowing too much light during daylight hours to see the glow of the glow worms.
Do you provide a pick-up service for the tour?
We pick up from selected hotels in Surfers Paradise. Please refer Tour Schedule page for pick up schedule.
Can I join the tour at the National Park?
The National Park is 45 minutes drive from Surfers Paradise on roads that are not well lit or well signposted and we do not recommend people trying to drive there at night. Our tour includes a pick up and drop off service from the Gold Coast. We are also trying to minimise our carbon emissions so it is better for us to take you there in our bus rather than everyone driving their own individual cars.
What should I wear on the tour?
Please wear casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes. Please bring a light jacket in cooler months.
Can I photograph the glow worms?
It is not possible to photograph the glow worms using a flash. Even without using it most of cases results turn up failly bad. So please do not try to use camera/video inside the Natural Bridge cave as the permit regulations doesn’t allow to use any artificial light sources include monitor of smartphone and video lights inside the cave. Instead, enjoy breathtaking beautiful illumination and memories the moment in your memory. During the circuit walk, you are welcome to take photos/videos without a flash or monitor light.
How do infants travel on the bus?
Infants must travel on the knee of a parent, and once they reach the age of 3 years, must be seated in their own seat and wear a seat belt.

Can I take a wheelchair or a stroller on the Glow Worm Tour?
There are a number of locations along the National Park track that have stairs. It is not suitable for either wheelchairs or strollers.
